Known for her charismatic personality, infectious laugh, and insatiable energy. Entertainment host Lady Charmaine uses her multi-media platform career as a media personality, and brand ambassador to encourage and inspire others.
A Bay Area native, Lady Charmaine attended Grambling State University majoring in Radio and Television Broadcasting. Her love for music and entertainment sparked her to begin a career as a radio DJ at her college radio station. Lady Charmaine has worked in the industry for over 25 years and loves keeping her audience abreast on all things entertainment! She is also a success coach, motivational speaker and emcee. Lady Charmaine was a featured “SOCIAL MEDIA TALKER” on the nationally syndicated television show “THE TALK” and she has appeared in the promotion for the new STEVE talk show and was a contestant on Harvey’s Hundreds. Lady Charmaine was a guest on the ‘Tyra Banks’ show, a co-host finalist for the syndicated talk show ‘Live with Regis’, and a guest number one morning show in Sacramento “Good Day”. Lady Charmaine was also a contestant on the longest running game show ‘The Price is Right’. Lady Charmaine was an entertainment reporter for CBS radio and the former mid-day host for Rejoice 1240. In addition to her TV and radio credit, she was also in the motion picture ‘The Principal’ starring Louis Gossett, Jr. and Jim Belushi. Lady Charmaine began her entertainment career as an intern for Warner Bro. Records in San Francisco in the early 90′s. Her on-air radio credits include PRAISE98FM.com, 97.5 KDEE, 100.5 THE ZONE, V101.1 in Sacramento, and KGRM in Louisiana. Lady Charmaine has been featured in such magazines as Sacramento News & Review, Sacramento Magazine, Sacramento Spotlight, Spirit Alive, and Promoting Purpose Magazine. She has also been on the cover of The Sac Cultural Hub Magazine twice October 2008 and December 2010 issues. Lady Charmaine’s awards and acknowledgements include being a two-time Stellar Award Nominated Station for PRAISE 98FM.com, Voted Christian Woman of the Year by the National Council of Negro Women, she has received the “Woman of Power Award” from Women in Bizness and she is nominated for Radio Personality of the Year and Talk Show of the Year by the Northern California Entertainers Music Awards.
