The film also displayed the strength and the intelligence of the black woman. It removed the stereotypes that the black woman is always the uneducated single struggling mother, drug abuser and side chick. The film proves the power of the black dollar. The film also proves that positive and powerful images of black people and the black culture will bring in millions.

The company used her photo to promote one of their products referring to how the actresses got her "Dewey Glow" and then proceeded to talk about their product as if it was their product was the reason for her fresh face but Henson wasn't having it!

Comedian and Actress Tiffany Haddish skyrocket to stardom after her hilarious role in 'Girls Trip'. She has stolen our hearts with her warm and bubbly personality. Her joy brings a smile to our hearts with each interview she does. But the joy that Tiffany received from a surprise visit from her idol brought her to tears!  Haddish was a guest on the Ellen show just after her idol Oprah appeared on a previous segment. She would have been the first woman to direct a Marvel Film. But there were creative differences and she and Marvel didn’t see eye to eye, she felt it would not have been an Ava Duvernay Film. She had a hard decision to make. She choose to step away from the project and work on projects that were important to her.
